Looking for a naan recipe online, I tried this one and liked it, so I'm not bothering to re-invent the wheel. The video comes from Haste's Kitchen and the link will take you to his YouTube channel playlist. I've added an ingredients list and you can download a PDF copy at the foot of the page.
260g Self-raising flour
30ml Olive oil
Nigell/mustard/sesame seeds (as you prefer – or none!)
Mix the dry ingredients. Add the yoghurt, olive oil and a splash of milk,
Mix. Add enough milk to bring the dough together. Too much and it becomes too sticky to work with. (If you overdo it, add some flour).
Knead the dough for 5 to 10 mins or until you feel it’s ready.
Heat your frying pan or skillet.
Divide the dough into 2 pieces and roll out. Add your flavourings as preferred.
Place into the pre-heated frying pan. It will take about 3 minutes for each side. Spread top side with melted butter to serve.
