A recipe from my sister, Sally
Ingredients
100g oats,
250g peanut butter (I used crunchy)
350g golden syrup*
1 handful of any chopped nuts
1 handful of any dried fruit (my addition to recipe).
Method
Mix the oats with the nuts and dried fruit.
Melt the peanut butter and golden syrup together, then stir in to bind. If too dry add a dash of water (I didn't have to).
Press into a lined baking tray and drizzle with melted chocolate.
Leave in fridge overnight and cut into squares.
Like a squidgy flapjack and wonderfully peanutty.
* You can make your own golden syrup if you don’t have any – it’s only sugar and water
